My free T3 is 0.1, free T4 is 1.1 and TSH is 2.3. I was told that since my T3 was low with the other numbers?

low and T4/TSH in normal range that I do not have hypothyroid but a secondary or non thyroidal disease. How do I go about finding out exactly what is wrong with me and would taking thyroid hormone help my situation?
